John W. Franklin of the Smithsonian Institution will describe the development of this new Washington, DC, museum, where all Americans can learn about the richness and diversity of the African American experience. Everyone is invited to come hear this talk and meet Mr. Franklin. The morning presentation begins at 10:00 a.m., with social time from 9:30 to 10:00. Admission to the morning session is $12 for adults and $5 for students. The evening presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by refreshments. Admission to the evening session is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Both presentations take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum, 222 SW Washington St. in downtown Peoria.
